Make a gift to help 23 first-year students learn/live/succeed together!
In its inaugural year, the WKU WISE Living Community is 23 first-year female students who are considering a major in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) program. Designed to ease the academic and social transition that all students make as they start college, this Living Community brings like-minded women together in a safe, supportive on-campus residential environment.

What is a Living Community?
Participants of WKU Living Communities have the opportunity to live together with other students who are taking similar courses or who have a common college-based major. Kicking off its first year, the 23 WISE Living Community (WISELC) participants are interested in majors within the WKU Ogden College of Science & Engineering (OCSE). This community is designed to create an immediate support network of new WISELC friends, who will learn and grow together. Housed on-campus, WISELC members share a dorm room with another WISELC member on the same floor with the other WISELC women and participate in a variety of academic, service, and social activities created specifically for their group. The WISE Living Community is sponsored by the OCSE Dean’s Office in partnership with WISE Faculty Group and Housing & Residence Life.
